I originally purchased these in the “original non-slip soft sole” taking care to research the soles on the website before I made my purchase. The soles were in fact not what was mentioned on the website. I emailed the company with a picture stating they sent me the wrong sole as the T-bars were correct. I ordered Thompson of shoes. They did email me back stating these boots are the only boot that do not come in that particular sole. I stated that it doesn’t say that on the website. My email went unanswered after that and the company then updated the site to remove that particular sole. It only comes in the weather sole apparently. Secondly, these are premium leather which I loved but the shoes wouldn’t zip up over my 1 yr olds calf. Sadly, I couldn’t return because my husband had her in them when I got home from work and the poor baby was soo relived and happy when I took them off of her. I got a size 3. It says not to size up but for these I would size up due to the top rim of the boot being so tight with no flexibility due to the leather. I guess you could always find a way to stretch them out. That’s the plan to avoid the shoe being a complete waste of money. The T-bars are good so far. I may purchase the winter boot but I’m just torn with giving my money to a company that offered no solution to their mistake. They are a beautiful shoe though however.
