I started Little Love Bug because I couldn't find shoes I actually wanted my own kids growing up in.
I wanted shoes that gave little feet room to grow and move naturally — without sacrificing the cute. So I made them.
Eight years later, that same belief is still behind every pair we create.

Barefoot-style shoes are designed to protect little feet while still allowing them to grip, flex and feel the ground beneath them.
Instead of forcing the foot into a rigid shape, Little Love Bug shoes give growing feet room to move naturally.
Why Little Love Bug for growing feet? +
We design every pair specifically with developing feet in mind.
That means wide toe boxes, lightweight flexible soles and a flat zero-drop design — without heavy, rigid construction squeezing growing feet.
Do Little Love Bugs have arch support? +
Little Love Bug shoes are designed to follow the natural shape of your child's foot without added arch support or unnecessary cushioning.
In babies and toddlers, the arch is still developing. Our philosophy is simple: give little feet space and flexibility so the muscles of the foot can do the work they're designed to do.
How do I clean them? +
For everyday messes, spot clean with a soft cloth, a little water and mild soap if needed. A magic eraser works great on many sole scuffs.
We don't recommend washing Little Love Bugs in the washing machine. For a deeper clean, remove the insoles, hand wash gently and allow them to air dry completely.

Most styles are available through size 3Y. Availability varies by style.

Many families use Little Love Bug shoes with SMOs, AFOs, braces and orthotics because of our naturally wide shape and flexible construction.
We often recommend sizing up approximately one size, although every orthotic and every child's foot is different.
Measure your child's foot while wearing the orthotic and use our Fit Guide as your starting point. Low-top Velcro styles are often the easiest place to start.
