These are the soles that started Little Love Bug Company! I was tired of not having a quality moccasin option for my littles that didn't shred or get holes in them on the first day of use. And WHAT is with those little dots on the bottom of some of them... GRIP?!

In 2017 I introduced my non-slip soft sole moccasins. These bottoms are in line with minimal footwear designs and consist of a zero drop. What is a zero drop? It's where the heel of your foot is the same height as the ball of your foot (no heel). This is super important for your little's foot development. Made of a soft suede leather and rubber grips - They're soft, light, flexible and have a box toe (so your little's toes can properly grow and not get squished!).

Can they be worn outside? You bet!

Are they great for non-walkers just learning to stand - Absolutely!

This is the ultimate proper foot-shaped sole designed to mimic the natural shape and movement of the human foot. Unlike traditional shoe soles, which often have a narrow toe box and elevated heel, our barefoot sole is wider at the toes and allows for greater flexibility and mobility of the foot. The design aims to provide a more natural and comfortable walking experience for your little, allowing the foot to move and function as it would barefoot. This type of sole prioritizes a closer connection to the ground and a more natural gait. Not to mention proper foot and bone growth.

*The material of the sole on the minimalist and the barefoot sole is the same - And processed identically. They are made of a light flexible material that allows you to fold the shoe in half. The barefoot sole is the upgrade from the minimalist sole, as we've added more room in the toe box for a wide (natural splay). This may seem weird or "too big" at first - This is a normal reaction to a true foot shaped barefoot sole. You WILL adiust - It's just not "normal" although it should be as it's best for your little's growing feet.

We've designed these shoes with a sole that sets them apart: zero drop, a wide toe box, lightweight, and flexible. However, these feature a crucial aspect for kids' shoes because they provide proper foot development and comfort while allowing natural foot movement. Perfect for outdoor adventures like biking, scootering, and beyond, our new sole includes a raised heel siding and toe scuff sole to handle wear and tear with ease.

Made of a thin rubber layer these soles are super light, flexible, and well... weatherproof! I introduced these soles in the Fall of 2018 and Mom's fell in love. Living in Oregon where it rains a lot - I wanted just a tad more assurance that my kids could romp around in the puddles without fear their little feet were getting wet. True to barefoot shoes, these moccs are boxed toes and zero drop so there's no crunching or restricting of proper bone growth of those cute little toes!

Can they be worn outside? You bet!
