I purchased the t-strap shoes for my granddaughter. They were her first pair of shoes and she loves them. that’s the good news. When they arrived in a cellophane pouch they smelled overwhelmingly like strong chemicals. This smell dissipated in a few days but i did find it concerning initially. After two weeks of normal use they looked awful(see photo). I understand that they are leather and will show wear but I would never expect a shoe to turn a different color and wear as poorly as these did. They are embarrassingly awful. My kids were much harder on their shoes and their shoes never looked like this.\nI reached out to customer service which is a very, very slow process and finally received a response. I was told that this is normal wear and tear and is expected. I was then referred to their facebook page to learn how to care for natural leather. I found this response insulting. I have never written a negative review but this information would have been valuable to me prior to my purchase.
