I started Little Love Bug because I couldn't find shoes I actually wanted my own kids growing up in.
I wanted shoes that gave little feet room to grow and move naturally — without sacrificing the cute. So I made them.
Eight years later, that same belief is still behind every pair we create.

Why barefoot-inspired shoes? +
Because kids’ shoes should look more like kids’ feet.
Many traditional shoes taper through the toes or use stiff, heavily structured soles. Little Love Bug takes a different approach: roomy toe boxes, flat zero-drop construction and flexible soles designed to let little feet move more freely.
How do I know which size to order? +
Measure first. Guessing by age is where things get messy. 😂
Kids grow quickly and every shoe brand fits differently. Measure both feet while your child is standing, use the longer measurement, then compare it with our size chart.

We intentionally keep the footbed simple.
Little Love Bug shoes are designed without a built-up arch or elevated heel. Instead, the focus is on a flat, flexible foundation with plenty of room for the foot to move.
Which sole should I choose? +

Start gently: remove loose dirt, use a soft slightly damp cloth when needed, and allow shoes to air dry naturally.

Many families use Little Love Bugs with orthotics.
Our roomy toe boxes and flexible construction can make some styles easier to accommodate braces or higher-volume feet, but fit depends on the child, orthotic and shoe style.
Measure with the orthotic in place and use that measurement against our size guide. Low-top Velcro styles are often a good place to start because they offer easier entry and adjustment.

No panic — eligible items have a 30-day return window.
