I wanted the classic.
Just not the compromise.
I've always loved the timeless look of a T-Bar. What I didn't love? How many children's dress shoes were stiff, narrow and shaped nothing like little feet.
So I wanted to make ours differently.
All the sweet, classic style — with the room and flexibility growing feet deserve.
Because I don't think we should have to choose between shoes that are good for their feet and shoes we actually want them to wear.

Are Little Love Bug T-Bars barefoot-inspired?
Yes. Our T-Bars are designed around the same things we believe little feet need: a roomy, foot-shaped toe box, zero-drop construction and a flexible sole that allows growing feet to move more naturally.
Are they good for everyday wear?
Absolutely. They may have that sweet, classic T-Bar look, but we designed them for real kids. They're lightweight, flexible and made for everything from special occasions to school, errands and everyday adventures.
Do they have a wide toe box?
Yes. Instead of tapering and squeezing little toes together, our T-Bars are designed with room through the toe box so toes have space to spread and move.
Do Little Love Bug T-Bars have arch support?
We intentionally don't add a raised or rigid arch support. Our barefoot-inspired shoes use a flat, flexible sole designed to allow little feet to move and work naturally.
How do I know which size to order?
We always recommend measuring before ordering rather than relying only on your child's usual shoe size. Kids grow quickly, and sizing can vary between brands.

Not at all. That's kind of the point. We wanted a shoe pretty enough for the dressy days, but comfortable and flexible enough that kids can actually be kids in them.
What if the size doesn't work?
No stress. Eligible U.S. and Canada orders can be returned within 30 days, so you have a little breathing room if the fit isn't quite right.
